Gracie Bon, a prominent plus-size influencer from Panama, believes that luxury sports cars should be more inclusive, particularly when it comes to seat size.
Known for often requiring extra space at amusement parks, Bon recently made another bold request — she wants McLaren to redesign their car seats to better accommodate larger bodies.
The 27-year-old took to Instagram to share her thoughts, igniting passionate discussions online.
“Super cars should be for everyone,” she wrote in the video’s caption, addressing her 10 million followers.

Bon, who has gained widespread attention for her curvy figure and vocal stance on body positivity, often shares photos and videos encouraging self-acceptance. Weighing approximately 225 pounds, she has become a sensation on social media.
Despite her efforts to promote body diversity, she asserts that the world isn’t always designed to accommodate her size.
In her latest video, Bon attempts to enter a sleek McLaren sports car with wing-style doors, but she struggles to fit comfortably.

Although she eventually settles into her seat, she encounters another issue—her 55-inch hips prevent the car door from closing properly.
Believing car manufacturers should prioritize inclusivity, Bon tweeted, “@mclaren please just make the seats bigger.”

However, many online weren’t convinced by her argument and expressed little sympathy for her request.
“That poor car!! That’s AutoAbuse!” one person commented, while another suggested, “If you need more space, get a bigger car like a G-Wagon, not a sports car.”
A third critic was even more direct, stating, “You always say ‘everything needs to be bigger’ — the world doesn’t revolve around you.”
This isn’t the first time Bon has addressed feeling discriminated against due to her size.
In February, Bon took to Instagram to share her experience at Disneyland, where she needed two seats on several rides. According to her, other park visitors stared and even recorded videos of her.
“I couldn’t believe my eyes. People were shocked to see my body—like, hello, this is America,” Bon recalled. “Almost 40% of people here are plus-size, so why did they act like I was some rare creature?”
She continued, saying, “I can’t just wake up one day and be skinny. It’s 2025, and people need to understand that not everyone looks the same, and that’s perfectly fine.”
The influencer has also criticized commercial airlines for having seats that are too small for plus-size passengers.
However, she found a solution to that problem last spring by purchasing her own private jet.
