Do you recall the performances from your early school years? After countless rehearsals, the big day arrived when you stepped onto the stage before parents, teachers, and families of your classmates. The fear of messing up in front of friends outweighed concerns about the adults. After all, you had to see your peers every day on the playground. That alone was daunting. It became even harder if a sibling was watching. But the ultimate challenge? Sharing the spotlight in the same show.
If you messed up, your family would never let you forget it. It would turn into a legendary tale. Siblings can be even more embarrassing—and persistent—than parents. Brother and sister duo Jadon Cole and Dylan Kate Muller took it a step further. As little kids, they performed Hallelujah—together! … in matching outfits! Before long, know-it-all Jadon started nitpicking Dylan’s singing. She couldn’t finish a chorus without his interruptions. Nothing compares to sibling rivalry! Check it out:
Isn’t that hilarious? Jadon and Dylan took classic sibling rivalry and ran with it. Don’t you wish you’d pulled off a prank like this at your elementary school talent show? What elevates this from a simple act about bickering siblings to a genuinely clever joke is their playful twists on “Hallelujah.” When Dylan belts out “Hello Julia” to a friend, it’s pure comedic gold, perfectly timed. Naturally, it wouldn’t land without Jake’s straight-faced delivery—and without their solid vocals, the whole thing would have flopped.
That was five years ago. While Jadon and Dylan have shared more videos since, none have exploded like their sibling showdown during Hallelujah—which has now racked up an incredible 21 million views on YouTube alone. No matter—both have transitioned from internet sensations to real-world achievers. Jadon has built an acting career, starring in multiple TV series. In The Instigators (2024), he even plays Matt Damon’s son! In this promo reel, he takes the stage as Jack Kelly in Newsies, LA, 2024.
Right after Newsies, Jadon Cole took on the role of Danny Zuko in Heritage Drama’s LA staging of Grease. He’s honing his acting skills the traditional way—by performing live on stage. Even so, it must have been an incredible moment when he hit the red carpet on August 2, 2024, at The Instigators premiere at Lincoln Center, NYC, alongside Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, and Jack Harlow. The Instigators is an Apple Original Film directed by Doug Liman. Huge congratulations, Jadon Cole!
Meanwhile, Dylan Kate is making waves of her own. In November 2023, as an eighth-grader, she took first place for her monologue at the annual Drama Teachers Association of Southern California theater competition. Dylan’s voice is nothing short of commanding—this girl can sing. Just watch how the audience reacts to her stunning performance of Burn from Hamilton. Enjoy!
