The most ‘desired’ woman on the planet has exposed a crucial dating blunder many single women make.
A model from London has dubbed herself the ‘world’s most sought-after girlfriend’ after an astonishing 5,000 men applied for a chance to date her.
Vera Dijkmans, 27, ignited a buzz on social media when she revealed she was open to receiving applications from interested suitors.
Yet, despite the flood of responses, only three men managed to meet her high expectations.
Despite drawing plenty of attention, Vera never found love in the end.
Boasting a massive audience of more than seven million across different social media channels, she continues to be in high demand.
Now, she shares insights with women on securing the ideal partner while highlighting frequent missteps they make in dating.

In a conversation with Mail Online, Vera highlights the significance of self-worth and maintaining strong personal limits.
She stresses, “Women should value themselves more and establish clear boundaries when dealing with men.”
Vera insists that men should invest effort in dating by organizing meaningful experiences, like dinner dates or fun activities.
“You should never accept last-minute invitations to ‘come over’ or agree to dates where no real effort was put into planning,” she firmly states.
For Vera, maintaining high standards is essential—she won’t waste time on dates that show little thought or preparation.
“This is a strict rule for me. If they don’t propose a well-planned first date, I won’t entertain it. And he should bring you a gift as well.”

Although she has been gifted lavish items like designer pieces from Louis Vuitton and Hermès, Vera emphasizes that the thought behind the gesture holds more weight than its cost.
“A simple bouquet of flowers would be just as meaningful. It doesn’t need to be extravagant—what matters is that he appreciates your time and presence.”
She strongly advocates for the “princess treatment” and urges women to embrace it as well: “I expect to be treated like a princess because that’s what I deserve—and so do you.”
Beyond sharing dating tips, Vera also educates women on warning signs to watch for in potential partners.
She warns against men who only reach out late at night, emphasizing, “If he only texts you after 10 p.m., that’s a clear sign of disrespect—you shouldn’t tolerate it.” Her advice? Cut ties immediately.
Additionally, Vera cautions against men who make empty promises or display double standards.
She also highlights hygiene and financial stability as non-negotiable traits in a partner.
“If they don’t prioritize both personal hygiene and financial responsibility, that’s a major red flag in my book.”

Although she faces criticism, especially from women who oppose her views or feel jealous, Vera stands firm in her beliefs.
“A relative who has been searching for a partner for years stopped speaking to me after I shared the boyfriend application—she said it was shameful.”
Vera also recalls a work situation where a makeup artist refused to do her makeup upon realizing that her boyfriend followed Vera online.
Still, she garners plenty of support from women who appreciate her confidence and high standards.
Looking back on the thousands of applications she received, she confesses, “I won’t lie—it was an incredible feeling to have so many men wanting to be my boyfriend.”
Vera credits her widespread popularity to her genuine nature.
Even so, she refuses to compromise on her standards, valuing intelligence, humor, responsibility, and financial security in a partner.
“For now, I’ve paused my search for a boyfriend, but I’m staying open to possibilities,” she reveals.
“I’m extremely selective, and I want a man who is nearly perfect. I don’t believe in settling for less—I’d rather stay single until I meet the right one.”
Although she enjoys the attention, Vera has come to realize: “receiving admiration from men isn’t the most important thing in life.”
