A woman has confessed to engaging in inappropriate behavior with her pet, with court documents stating that more than 150 videos allegedly serve as proof.
In 2021, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children got a lead regarding a Snapchat user distributing illicit material. This prompted the Las Vegas police to look into 31-year-old Brennah Montgomery.

During their investigation in August 2022, officers are said to have discovered 153 videos related to the case. Montgomery was subsequently arrested in May 2024.
When interrogated, she denied storing any illegal content, insisting that her phone had automatically downloaded videos from a group chat on an encrypted app, as reported by 8 News Now. However, she eventually confessed to sending three videos via Snapchat.
Upon searching her property, investigators found videos that supposedly showed her and her pet. Some of the videos were duplicates, while others contained unclear footage. Five clips allegedly displayed Montgomery’s face either partially or fully.

According to police reports, Montgomery eventually confessed to specific actions with the pet but maintained that she did not coerce the animal in any way.
Last week, she pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor charge related to her pet and one felony charge concerning illicit visual material.
“A Facebook profile bearing her name featured a February 2024 post about a dog. It remains uncertain whether this was the same pet referenced in the case. The post stated: ‘Though it pains me, I now understand that this is the best opportunity for both of us. Fresh starts will bring great happiness and success — especially for dear Piper! I can no longer give her the care and attention she truly needs.'”

She later looked for suggestions on where to rehome the animal.
Montgomery’s sentencing is scheduled for May 12. If found guilty, she may receive a $7,000 penalty and a prison term of up to seven years. Additionally, she will be required to register as an offender under the statute.
