Woman Devastated After Discovering Matching Tattoo’s Offensive Meaning

A woman was left in tears after getting a sentimental matching tattoo with her friend, only to realize it ended up looking rather inappropriate.

When it comes to getting a tattoo, it’s crucial to remember that it’s permanent.

You really need to think carefully before committing to something that will stay with you for life.

One woman has gone viral after learning this lesson the hard way, at a great personal cost.

Alaina Nicole had the idea of getting a matching tattoo with her friend.

The design was meant to celebrate their bond and act as a meaningful reminder of their friendship.

However, the final result turned out to be nothing like what they had envisioned.

Nicole and her friend had chosen a butterfly tattoo. But, unfortunately, the finished piece resembled… something entirely different.

The tattoo was so poorly done that when the TikToker saw it for the first time, she was brought to tears.

People have been left stunned by the terrible ink.

One person suggested the tattoo artist deliberately pranked the girls, saying: “Whoever did this knew. They knew.”

Another person agreed, saying, “The tattoo ‘artist’ knew exactly what they were doing.”

However, when Nicole shared the intended design with her followers, many thought the artist was simply following instructions.

“Am I the only one who thinks it looks exactly the same?” one person asked.

A second commenter pointed out, “Well, that’s what you asked for.”

Another person suggested, “I think it’s the placement. It would’ve been better on your fingers, not your arm.”

Others shared their thoughts, with one person suggesting: “What if you each finished the other half and colored the opposite sides? That could fix it.”

Another person advised: “Complete the butterfly and color one side. She does the same and colors the other side.”

The original concept was for the two friends to each get half of a butterfly, which, when put together, would form the full image.

It’s a similar concept to the ‘best friend’ necklaces from the ’90s.

he issue is that one butterfly wing, when separated from the other, ends up looking quite phallic.

“When you try to get cute matching bestie tattoos and end up with two limp d***s instead!” Nicole writes on TikTok.

The TikToker later shared that the pair have fixed their accidental naughty designs and now have a joint butterfly symbol they both love.

And, most importantly, the new tattoos can’t be misinterpreted!
