Leah Rose and Ava Marie Clements marked their 7th birthday in 2017 by launching an Instagram account that quickly went viral, attracting followers captivated by their stunning beauty.
The California-based twins – often dubbed the “most beautiful twins in the world” – are now 14 and have become globally recognized child models, with a story as fascinating as their angelic appearance.
In 2017, Jaqi Clements decided to share pictures of her identical twin daughters, Leah and Ava, on social media. What started as a way to connect with friends and family soon caught the attention of netizens, who were enchanted by their incredible beauty. The account began to gain momentum.
The twins’ natural allure struck a chord with audiences, and before long, modeling agencies and brands began reaching out. What began as a simple Instagram page transformed into a major platform that would change their lives forever.
“Instagram was a platform I didn’t really use before creating an account for the girls,” the mother of three shares in a blog post. “If you had asked me six months ago if 300,000 followers was a big deal, I wouldn’t have had any idea.”
Now, the twin sisters boast nearly 3 million followers on Instagram and Facebook, along with high-profile collaborations with brands like Disney, Nike, and Target, solidifying their place as leading child models.
Criticism
The Clements family faced considerable criticism from those who questioned the parents’ decision to let their twin daughters model at such a young age.
Jaqi stood by her decision with confidence, explaining that modeling was the girls’ dream, not something forced upon them. She stressed that she and her husband, Kevin, weren’t profiting from their daughters but were making personal financial sacrifices to help the girls pursue their passion.
“I didn’t decide that my girls would model; they did. And if the day comes when they want to explore something else, I will fully support their decision to do so,” Jaqi shared.
Lifeline
In October 2019, the Clements twins’ Instagram account, which had already amassed millions of followers due to their modeling achievements, became a crucial lifeline for their father.

The Clements family’s world shifted unexpectedly when Kevin, a father of three and head swim coach at a local high school, began feeling what he believed was just a mild cold.
At 39 years old, Kevin was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma.
The twins, eager to make a difference, turned to social media, hoping to find a match among their millions of followers for their father’s crucial bone marrow transplant.
“If he gets a transplant, his cancer will go away faster,” Ava explained to People in 2019.
Leah added, “It’s so kind of people to want to help my dad. The more people who get tested, the better.”

Thousands of individuals answered the twins’ call for help with their dad, and while Kevin found a donor in his brother Chris, the supporters who came forward were also added to a national registry to assist other patients.
More than just beautiful faces

Ava and Leah are now 14-year-olds, radiating beauty and confidence as they continue to model and connect with their ever-expanding fan base. Their journey from local models to global icons highlights their dedication, charm, and the steadfast support of their family.
Balancing their thriving modeling careers with family life, education, and advocacy, Leah and Ava have shown they are more than just beautiful faces – they are role models for many. As they continue to grow, the world eagerly anticipates what’s next for these extraordinary young talents.
