Ethan “ModBoy” Bramble, a 24-year-old Australian, became widely recognized for his bold appearance, featuring an extensive collection of tattoos and dramatic body modifications.
With more than 200 tattoos inked across his skin and multiple surgical alterations, his striking look defined his persona and made him instantly noticeable everywhere he went.

Bramble’s exploration of body modification started at an astonishingly young age.
At just 11, he began stretching his earlobes, igniting a deep fascination with transforming his appearance.
As time passed, his modifications grew more intense, from splitting his tongue to surgically extracting his belly button.
These alterations made him a distinctive figure but also invited scrutiny and criticism from others.
Although tattoos and body modifications are widely viewed as personal expressions, Bramble eventually reconsidered some of his decisions.
By the time he recognized he may have gone too far, his skin was nearly covered in tattoos, and the thought of reversing it all felt daunting.
The price of crafting his bold look was substantial, amounting to roughly AUD 60,000 (around $39,000 USD).
This financial commitment also underscored the magnitude of what it would take to undo his transformations if he decided to reverse them.

In an interview for LadBibleTV’s No Filter series, Bramble candidly discussed his feelings of regret.
Looking back on his journey, he confessed, “I suppose you could say I regret certain tattoos. It’s not just regret—it’s more about wanting to be seen differently.”
He also revealed how public reactions, especially the way people stared when he was with his young daughter, heavily influenced his perspective. “The face is a major factor,” he added.
Reflecting further, he admitted, “It can cause so many problems. I don’t want my daughter facing that until she’s older. I regret going so extreme with my face.”
To begin his transformation, Bramble turned to laser tattoo removal, starting with his face.
This choice marked a major step in confronting his emotions and altering his image for his daughter’s benefit.
“I’ve been getting laser treatments for around 12 months now,” he shared.
“We tackle it in sections, and I’ve gone over the entire area six or seven times.”

Beyond his physical appearance, Bramble connected his choice to his mental health, admitting, “A lot of the anxiety I experienced may have come from having a face covered in tattoos.”
He continued, “I’m content with how I look, but I also find comfort in knowing that over the next two years, my face tattoos will gradually fade. It feels like wiping the slate clean.”
