Meghan Markle shared a behind-the-scenes clip of her upcoming Netflix lifestyle show ahead of its release – only for the footage to mysteriously disappear and then be reposted.
The Duchess of Sussex’s new show is scheduled to premiere next Tuesday, after being delayed from its original release date of January 15 due to the California wildfires.
Yesterday, Meghan posted a ‘backstage video’ from With Love, Meghan on her freshly launched Instagram account, but shortly after, the video seemed to be removed.
The 14-second video included a brief appearance from her husband, Prince Harry, along with their cherished beagle, Guy—whose passing Meghan revealed last month.
In the footage, the Duchess is seen dancing and enjoying playful moments with the crew and several guests set to be featured.
After its removal, the snippet resurfaced on X before an almost identical teaser was later reuploaded to her social media without any clarification.
Meghan, 43, shared: “Just six days until our show premieres on @Netflix! Grateful for the crew and everyone who made this possible! The countdown is on.”
The upcoming series will showcase the Duchess as she “reinvents the lifestyle genre,” with guests joining her to cook, garden, and more—encouraging viewers to take part as well, according to Netflix’s promotional details.
A January teaser featured Meghan welcoming friends and guests to a California estate, where she offered insights on cooking, gardening, and entertaining.
The show will feature guests such as Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling, Alice Waters, along with other renowned chefs and special friends. There will be a total of eight episodes, each running for 33 minutes.
This update follows comparisons between With Love, Meghan and Pamela Anderson’s new cooking show, which debuted on Canada’s Flavour Network this past Monday.

The Duchess of Sussex is can be seen displaying her dance moves in a newly released behind-the-scenes clip.

Prince Harry also makes a brief appearance in the clip to help promote With Love, Meghan, set to debut next week.

Another segment of the clip features Meghan trying her hand at beekeeping while cameras capture the moment.
Some viewers have noticed parallels between the two shows, especially after the Baywatch star’s trailer premiered last October, preceding Meghan’s in January.
However, supporters of the Duchess argue that the close release dates and fast-paced production timelines suggest any similarities are purely coincidental.
The similarities in aesthetic, titles, and wardrobes were quickly noticed, along with shared gestures and phrases—such as the stars strolling through a garden admiring the produce, before inviting chefs, family, and friends into the kitchen to taste the food.
In other parts of the clips, Anderson shares, “I just always have wanted to take things to another level,” while Meghan echoes, “I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it.”
Fans previously pointed out that certain scenes in the With Love, Meghan trailer seemed familiar for other reasons, drawing comparisons to past recipes and similar shows.
Some noted that Meghan’s Ladybug Caprese Bruschetta resembled existing recipes, while others likened elements of the show to a YouTube cooking series hosted by the Marchioness of Bath. Additionally, her beekeeping segment caught attention, as it happens to be one of Kate’s well-known hobbies.
In the trailer for With Love, Meghan, the Duchess invites celebrity chefs and well-known friends, including Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer, as she prepares a variety of beautifully presented dishes. The scene is set to the upbeat tune of The Lovin’ Spoonful’s Do You Believe in Magic.

Meghan is seen standing at a table inside the $5 million Montecito mansion, where the reality TV show is filmed.

The video features Meghan dancing while chatting with producers of her upcoming Netflix lifestyle series.

Meghan is seen embracing a crew member in the behind-the-scenes clip shared online.
In another moment from the kitchen of the rented $5 million Montecito mansion where the show is filmed, Meghan tells viewers she’ll be sharing “some little tips and tricks” while preparing a Ladybug-themed appetizer.
However, some viewers pointed out that recipes for the dish have existed since 2015 on numerous food blogs and Pinterest pages.
They also appeared in the U.S. lifestyle magazine First for Women in 2018 and on the popular TikTok account Home Cooks World in 2023.
The ingredients in the latter’s recipe include a baguette, pesto, mozzarella, basil, cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, sesame seeds, and olive oil. Meanwhile, First for Women described the dish as “packed with mood-boosting calcium and energizing antioxidants.”
Another section of the trailer features Meghan attempting beekeeping—though some royal fans noted that this has long been one of her sister-in-law Kate’s favorite hobbies.
The Princess of Wales was pictured joyfully tending to a beehive at Anmer Hall in Norfolk in a photo released in May 2023 to celebrate World Bee Day.
Kate is known for producing her own honey, while Queen Camilla is also an avid beekeeper, maintaining hives at Raymill, her six-bedroom countryside retreat in Lacock, Wiltshire.

The video includes Meghan’s cherished beagle, Guy, whose passing was announced last month.

Meghan is seen conversing with a member of the Netflix production team in the behind-the-scenes clip.

In the video leading up to the show’s release, the Duchess is seen showcasing her dance moves.
Camilla, who is also the president of Bees For Development, a charity dedicated to protecting bee habitats in over 50 countries, oversees the four beehives located on an island in the Buckingham Palace garden, along with two hives in the garden at Clarence House.
Other viewers have drawn comparisons between scenes from the trailer and those featured in the YouTube cooking show Emma’s Kitchen, hosted by Marchioness and chef Emma Weymouth.
The Celebrity MasterChef contestant—formerly known as Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath—shares videos of her culinary creations, having launched her brand in 2015 using the historic kitchens of Longleat House as a backdrop.
In Meghan’s first trailer, released in January, she appears smiling and at ease, with one scene showing her embracing Harry.
The series was officially announced at the beginning of January, just a day after Meghan made her return to Instagram for the first time since 2020.
Meghan shared: “I’ve been so excited to finally reveal this! I hope you enjoy the show as much as I loved creating it.
“Wishing you all a wonderful New Year! Huge thanks to our incredible crew and the team at @Netflix. So grateful for the support—and all the fun!”
A promotional synopsis describes the series as: “This uplifting show, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reinvents the lifestyle genre, combining hands-on tips with open and heartfelt conversations among both new and familiar friends.”

Prince Harry makes a quick appearance in the clip, seen walking out the door alongside Meghan.

Meghan appears in the 14-second clip alongside her beloved beagle, Guy, who has since passed away.
“Meghan shares her personal tips and tricks, prioritizing playfulness over perfection while showcasing how effortlessly beauty can emerge—even in the most unexpected moments.
“She and her guests dive into hands-on experiences in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, encouraging viewers to join in the fun.”
Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions played a key role in producing the series, with Meghan also receiving credit as one of its executive producers.
The couple signed an £80 million, five-year deal with Netflix in 2020, and they also served as executive producers for Polo, which recently aired.
This documentary marks the couple’s first since Heart of Invictus, which premiered 16 months earlier. That film followed a group of service members as they prepared for the Invictus Games, the Paralympic-style sporting competition founded by Harry in 2014 for injured and ill military personnel and veterans.
The show follows Live to Lead (2022), which highlighted leaders committed to social justice, and comes after the couple’s widely discussed six-part documentary, Harry & Meghan.
Meanwhile, trademark filings indicate that Meghan plans to launch biscuit and pancake mixes under her newly rebranded lifestyle company, As Ever.
On February 18, the Duchess explained that she changed the name from American Riviera Orchard because it restricted her to locally produced goods.

Meghan is shown surrounded by a film crew as she tries her hand at beekeeping during the show.

The Duchess is seen standing at a table during filming for her new Netflix show, set to premiere on March 4.
In addition, a new application filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office on the same day has revealed a range of products Meghan plans to sell under the As Ever brand.
Included in the application are items that will compete with major brands like Betty Crocker and Dr. Oetker, such as “mixes for bakery goods, cookie mixes, biscuit mixes, and crepe mixes,” all falling under international trademark class 30, which covers food products.
The application was submitted by 2022 Trademarks LLC (LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY; Delaware, USA), a company established by Meghan’s representatives.
This follows the Duchess’s unveiling of her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, last year, where she sent out 50 jars of jam to friends as a soft launch.
The “American Riviera” is a term often used to refer to Santa Barbara, where Meghan lives with her husband, Prince Harry, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
US officials informed Meghan that geographical locations cannot be patented, which meant she couldn’t trademark the original name, leading her to rename the brand As Ever.
In a video posted to her Instagram on February 18, Meghan confirmed the rebrand and revealed that Netflix is not only the streaming platform for her upcoming series With Love, Meghan, but also a partner in her business.
The new website for her venture includes a photo of Meghan and her three-year-old daughter, Lilibet, walking hand-in-hand across a sunny lawn with palm trees in the background.

The Duchess writes on a chalkboard while shooting for her upcoming series, With Love, Meghan.

The video arrives just ahead of the premiere of the Duchess of Sussex’s new show, set to air next Tuesday.
Meghan humorously referenced the first product launched by her business last year, a limited edition jar of strawberry jam, saying, “Of course, there will be fruit preserves. I think it’s clear by now that jam is my jam.”
She continued, “But there are so many more products I adore and use in my own home. Now, it’s time to share them with you, and I can’t wait for you to see it all.”
At the beginning of the video, Harry can be heard in the background saying, “It’s recording,” before Meghan addresses her followers:
“In two weeks, my show is coming out, which I’m so excited about, and also my business, which I think has sparked a lot of curiosity.
“Last year, I thought, ‘You know what, American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name—it’s my neighborhood, a nickname for Santa Barbara.’ But it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area.”
“Then Netflix came on board, not only as my partner for the show but also as my partner in my business, which was a huge moment,” she shared.
A trademark application for As Ever was initially filed in October 2022, only to be replaced by American Riviera Orchard, as reported by The Telegraph.
However, when the American Riviera Orchard application was denied, the As Ever application was re-submitted in September of last year.
Similar to the original filing, the application covers products like downloadable and printed recipe books, tableware, textiles, as well as jams and marmalades.
“As Ever essentially means as it’s always been, and if you’ve followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know I’ve always loved cooking, crafting, and gardening,” Meghan explained.
She continued, “This is what I do, and while I haven’t been able to share it with you in the same way over the past few years, now I can.”

Meghan’s new show is scheduled for release next Tuesday, after being postponed from its original January 15 debut.

Meghan Markle appears alongside actress Mindy Kaling in the trailer for With Love, Meghan, released in January.
In her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, Meghan introduces viewers to her journey. Before joining the Royal Family, Meghan shut down her lifestyle website, The Tig, which she had used to discuss social issues like gender equality, along with sharing content on travel, food, and fashion.
In other news, the owner of an independent New York store with the same name, As Ever, has confirmed he will no longer pursue legal action.
Mark Kolski, the designer and owner of the vintage clothing studio As Ever NYC, previously expressed that he was left “reeling” after Meghan chose to relaunch her company under the same name as his clothing label.
However, after considering his options, the 58-year-old revealed that he is no longer pursuing any legal action and is instead focusing on his work.
Mr. Kolski also clarified that there has been no “battle” between him and the Duchess over the name, and that their teams have not had any direct communication.
Meanwhile, the Spanish village of Porreres in Mallorca is considering legal action against the Duchess, with local officials accusing Meghan of copying the town’s traditional coat of arms, which dates back to 1370.
The As Ever logo features a palm tree flanked by two hummingbirds. Harry famously mentioned seeing a hummingbird after the passing of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
The town’s coat of arms is notably similar, depicting two birds on either side of a palm.
In addition, the Duchess has been prohibited from selling any clothing under her As Ever brand due to the name’s similarity to a budget Chinese clothing company.
The Mail on Sunday revealed that documents filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office in October 2022 by Meghan’s team of high-powered lawyers sought permission to sell items such as aprons and other clothing, along with a wide range of products including jams and dog biscuits, under the As Ever name.
However, the office issued a 145-page “partial rejection” of Meghan’s trademark application in July 2023, stating that she could not sell clothing because her company’s name was too similar to the Chinese fast fashion brand ASEVER.
The Sussexes stepped down from their roles as working royals in 2020 and later relocated to the celebrity enclave of Montecito, where they have built a new life for themselves and their children.
