Meghan Markle Describes Being An Actively Present Parent As A ‘True Joy And Privilege’ While Casually Preparing A Colorful Rainbow Fruit Salad In A Charming Teaser Of Her Netflix Series.

Meghan Markle described being an engaged parent as a “true joy and privilege” while preparing a vibrant, rainbow-inspired fruit salad in an exclusive preview of her upcoming Netflix series, set to debut tomorrow.

In the snippet released by the streaming giant, the 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex is seen carefully arranging an assortment of colorful fruits in a visually appealing way.

She begins by laying out grapes, blueberries, and strawberries on a chopping board, then shares a tip, saying, “You don’t need a large platter for this… even a single row can make a fun and healthy breakfast for your kids.”

“It makes the morning so much more enjoyable,” said the mother of two before demonstrating, “Can I just show you? Even making a small one works.”

As she crafted the miniature rainbow-inspired fruit salad, Prince Harry’s wife emphasized, “There’s something truly special about being a fully present parent. It’s a privilege at times because we all have jobs, responsibilities, and endless to-do lists.”

“But when you take a moment to embrace the joy in these little things, it creates such a lovely start to the weekend,” Meghan added, completing her vibrant arrangement with a touch of yogurt and delicate flower sprinkles.

“It’s not about the size of the celebration, but how you make these habits part of daily life,” the Duchess remarked.

Posting the preview on her Instagram, Meghan announced, “The countdown is nearly over,” and added, “If this makes you smile, just wait until all episodes of With Love, Meghan premiere on Netflix at midnight tonight!”

This follows Meghan’s recent revelation that her son, Prince Archie, often reminds her, “Mama, don’t work too hard.” She shared this touching moment in a heartfelt interview with People magazine while discussing her children ahead of her new cooking show.

Reflecting on the deeper meaning of her latest project, the Duchess told the U.S. publication that her series is her way of showing her three-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, “what it truly means to be a working mom.”

With Love, Meghan is set to debut on March 4, following a delay from its original January launch due to the California wildfires.

Alongside the series, the mother of two has introduced her new merchandise line, As Ever. The brand’s website showcases a touching image of the Duchess holding hands with her daughter, a moment described as ‘deeply meaningful’ to Meghan.

Speaking about her latest venture, she shared: “I love the sense of tradition behind it and the idea that I can build this in front of my daughter, showing her what it means to be a working mom. Hopefully, this becomes part of her legacy too.”

Elsewhere, Prince Harry’s wife reflected on a heartfelt moment, recalling how, just days before the interview, her son had sleepily told her: “Mama, don’t work too hard.”

In the in-depth interview, Meghan shared her love for preparing breakfast for her family, revealing that she starts her day at 6:30 a.m. She wakes her children, helps them get dressed, and often makes fried eggs with bacon—though on some mornings, she opts for frozen waffles instead.

Her upcoming Netflix series aims to “reinvent the lifestyle programming genre,” as described in the platform’s promotional materials. The show will feature Meghan alongside celebrity guests, engaging in hands-on activities in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond—encouraging viewers to join in the experience.

With Love, Meghan was filmed on a stunning £5 million estate in California and features several of her close friends, including The Office star Mindy Kaling and renowned chefs Alice Waters and Roy Choi.

Although the series wasn’t shot inside her own home, Meghan told the magazine that she ensured elements of her personal life were woven into the show—featuring her chicken coop and lush garden.

She also had her children visit the set, sharing, “I loved that they could watch me work, see that balance, and understand what Mama does—what she’s creating and sharing with the world.”

Meghan first hinted at the project on New Year’s Day by reviving her once-defunct Duchess of Sussex Instagram account—now rebranded simply as @meghan—sharing a mysterious clip of herself running along the beach.

Her return to Instagram marks a shift after she shut down all her social media accounts in January 2018, shortly after her engagement to Prince Harry.

At the time, a Kensington Palace representative stated: “Ms. Markle appreciates everyone who has followed her over the years. However, as she hasn’t used the accounts for some time, she has decided to close them.”

This follows Meghan’s longtime make-up artist, Daniel Martin, celebrating a major milestone—seeing his ‘bestie’ featured on a towering billboard in New York City’s Times Square.

Daniel, a key member of the mother-of-two’s inner circle, took to Instagram on Sunday to express his excitement and support for the Duchess ahead of her upcoming Netflix series.

'And it's a luxury sometimes because we all have to work. We all have a lot of stuff to do', added Meghan (pictured)

“And at times, it feels like a luxury because we all have work and so many responsibilities,” Meghan added (pictured).

'But when you can take a minute to just... finding the fun in those moments, makes for a really sweet start to the weekend,' added Meghan (pictured), before finishing off her colourful display with yogurt and flower sprinkles

Just two days before the show’s global debut, Daniel took to Instagram Stories to document his visit to Times Square, where he eagerly pointed at a massive billboard playing the trailer for Meghan’s series.

The 51-year-old set the clip to Kool & The Gang’s Celebration and playfully captioned it, “Hit Times Square to see my besties,” tagging both Netflix and Meghan’s Instagram accounts.

Daniel is thought to have known Meghan for over ten years, having first met her during her time on Suits.

Since Meghan didn’t have a publicist, she personally reached out to Daniel’s agent at The Wall Group. He later recalled how they formed an ‘instant connection.’

“I understood exactly what she wanted—it was one of those moments where she looked in the mirror and said, ‘Oh my God, this is what I’ve always envisioned, but I never knew how to achieve it,’” he shared with the publication.

They stayed in touch, and while working on her former lifestyle blog, The Tig, Meghan reached out to Daniel for assistance.

He has remained a close confidant throughout her transition into royal life and was by Meghan’s side on her wedding day, ensuring her make-up was flawless.

Ahead of Tuesday’s release, Netflix unveiled a sneak peek of With Love, Meghan, featuring her ‘new friend,’ Roy Choi.

'With Love, Meghan' lands on Netflix on Tuesday morning and is aimed at showing a new side to the Duchess of Sussex

With Love, Meghan debuts on Netflix Tuesday morning, offering a fresh glimpse into the Duchess of Sussex’s life.

In the preview, Meghan and Chef Roy Choi bonded over their mutual love for ‘karaoke and dancing’ in Koreatown while cooking a flavorful batch of Korean fried chicken in an elegant kitchen setting.

Meghan, who first announced the series earlier this year, later shared the sneak peek on her Instagram Stories, writing: “Big thanks to my fellow Angeleno, Chef Roy Choi.

Had the best time having you on the show—can’t wait for you all to watch!”

The Duchess’ highly anticipated show is now set to debut on Tuesday, March 4, after facing a delay from its original January 15 premiere due to the catastrophic wildfires that swept through Los Angeles.

She also gave fans a sneak peek by posting a ‘behind-the-scenes’ clip featuring her husband, Prince Harry, and her energetic dance moves—though the video was swiftly taken down, only to resurface again on February 27.

Following its removal, the brief teaser was shared again on X before an apparently identical version was reuploaded to her social media without any explanation.

Meghan accompanied the post with the caption: ‘Just six days until our show premieres on @Netflix! Grateful for the crew and everyone who made this possible! The countdown is officially on.’
