Jennifer Lawrence revealed it all.
Picture stepping into Jennifer Lawrence’s shoes for a single day.
In the world of acting, you might find yourself portraying a hilarious character who has everyone laughing or fully immersing yourself in a role that’s deeply intense and emotional.
Or, you know, you might just spend the entire day completely bare. It’s really anyone’s guess.
That’s the level of versatility Lawrence delivers, constantly pushing her boundaries.
She recently opened up about spending a full day unclothed while filming the bold comedy No Hard Feelings, now available on Netflix.
In the film, Andrew Barth Feldman stars alongside Lawrence in a story about a reserved 19-year-old whose eager parents want him to gain some experience before heading off to college.
Enter Jennifer Lawrence as Maddie, a woman on the brink of losing her home, desperately in need of some quick cash.
In a bid to coax Feldman’s character, Percy, out of his shell and secure financial help from his parents, things take an unexpected turn. What starts as a simple request escalates to an uncomfortably intimate moment.
Reflecting on her decision to go fully nude for the role, Lawrence explained to Variety:

“Everyone around me, including my team, kept asking, ‘Are you sure? Are you sure?’ But honestly, I didn’t hesitate for a second. It was actually pretty funny to me,” Lawrence shared.
And in case you’re picturing some creative angles or props to cover up, forget it.
Lawrence dove headfirst into full-frontal nudity, all while handling a comedic fight scene with another character.
Honestly, trying to keep a straight face through that experience is a challenge in itself.
While the scene wasn’t overly long, Lawrence shared that it still took a full day to film.

Fortunately, the atmosphere between Lawrence and Feldman was far from awkward.
Feldman explained, “Every situation these characters find themselves in, you’re just cracking up the whole time.”
Regarding the more intimate scenes, he continued, “We became so comfortable with each other right away that nothing ever felt strange or uncomfortable. It was all completely professional.”
With her trademark wit, Lawrence quipped, “Even when I pulled my T-shirt over your head and motor-boated you? You still felt safe?”
Feldman confidently responded, “I felt it was a purely sterile and professional setting.”

Before you rush to stream No Hard Feelings, here’s a little warning: this might not be the best movie to watch with your parents.
While it’s not as intense as Saltburn, it’s definitely a daring pick.
However, with an impressive 87% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s clear that this is a hit worth giving a try.
