More often than not, the most memorable performances on America’s Got Talent come from singers. Whether it’s Grace VanderWaal or Jackie Evancho, vocalists have consistently captivated the show’s audience. However, Las Vegas-based dance duo Izzy and Easton set out to prove that AGT isn’t just about singers—it’s about raw talent in all its forms.
Izzy, 11, and Easton, 14, are best friends who have been dancing side by side for five years. “He’s like my big brother!” Izzy shared about Easton, and their close connection is undeniable. Their strong friendship shines through not only in their interactions but also in their mesmerizing performances!
Easton calls the performance “one of our most significant ever,” yet their skill is undeniable in the audition. They take the stage with Fleurie’s Soldier, portraying a deeply emotional tale of a soldier departing for war and leaving his beloved younger sister behind. Society often overlooks young talent due to age, but Izzy and Easton defy that notion, proving that true ability knows no age limit. As the saying goes—if you have the talent, age is just a number!
Professional dancer and judge Julianne Hough was amazed, declaring, “I always say if you’re the best in your class, find a tougher one. You stepped onto the biggest stage there is and absolutely nailed it.” Even Simon Cowell, who sarcastically questioned, “Does anyone even like contemporary dance?” before their audition, was left in awe, praising them for an outstanding performance. Though their journey on the show ended in the next round, this certainly wasn’t the last time we saw the talented duo!
Since leaving the show, Izzy and Easton have continued to amaze audiences with their captivating performances. They primarily train and perform with The Rock Center for Dance, a renowned youth company dedicated to nurturing young dancers and helping them reach their highest potential. One particularly memorable routine is their performance to Don’t Give Up On Me by Andy Grammer. This stunning piece beautifully highlights their strength, confidence, and professionalism as dancers. The song itself serves as a touching tribute to their friendship, and there’s no doubt that even greater opportunities await them.
