AITA for making my fiancé pay for the catering again after he canceled it behind my back?

A 31-year-old woman says that she and her fiancé planned a small but beautiful wedding. They split up the work, with her in charge of vendors and him in charge of logistics. After weeks of trying different foods, she hired a caterer for $4,800, which included staff and cleanup. Her fiancé said it was too expensive but agreed at first. Then he canceled the reservation without telling her and got a food truck vendor who was much cheaper, didn’t have a contract, didn’t have any reviews, and wanted cash up front.

She was very angry when she found out through an email from the caterer and told him to fix it. He said no, saying they couldn’t afford the original price anymore, so she used her own money to book the original caterer again. Now he’s saying she’s controlling and that it’s “just food,” and his mother is saying she’s being dramatic for “making him pay twice.” She wonders if she was wrong to stick to her guns.
