A woman flying from New York to Zurich used her travel points to upgrade to business class with her nine-month-old daughter, hoping they could both get some rest during the red-eye flight. When a woman sat next to her, she immediately muttered “are you kidding me” after seeing the baby. The flight began quietly, with the baby sleeping for three hours before waking up hungry and crying for about two minutes while her mother prepared a bottle.
The passenger became furious, gave the mother the finger, and demanded the flight attendants move her “to economy.” When she returned, she lectured the mother that babies don’t belong in business class. The mother told her that if she didn’t want to risk sitting next to a child, she should fly private. Later, when the mother shared the story, her mother-in-law said she agreed with the other passenger. Still, the mother insists that having a baby shouldn’t mean she loses the right to comfort she paid for.
AITA for bringing a baby to business class?
