A 10-year-old stunned the crowd with a powerful All By Myself performance, leaving even Simon Cowell speechless. Goosebumps. Pure magic.

Celine Dion is often regarded as one of the greatest vocalists in the world, and many have tried—unsuccessfully—to replicate her unique sound. However, a 10-year-old Filipino boy, Peter Rosalita, comes incredibly close to capturing her essence.

For his America’s Got Talent audition, he performed “All By Myself,” a song Celine famously popularized in 1996. Interestingly, the song was originally written and performed by Eric Carmen in 1975, where it peaked at #2 on Billboard’s Hot 100. An even lesser-known fact is that it’s based on the second movement (Adagio sostenuto) of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Opus 18, written between 1900–1901.

With all that in mind, here’s a young boy, not even a teenager, taking on this massive song—and it’s no exaggeration to say that he absolutely nails it.

Starting with a gentle, slow build, Peter quickly reaches breathtaking heights in his performance. By the end, all four judges are standing, with Simon remarking, “That was an incredible audition. There were moments during that performance that literally gave me goosebumps! You have an incredible voice, an amazing personality, and fantastic energy.”
