Caitlyn Watts shared a heartfelt tribute to her late brother, writing: “There is a fragility in all of us. His memory and his story will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be deeply missed. Let this serve as a reminder that life is fleeting—hold your loved ones close and tell them you love them today.”
Dylan’s mother, Suzanne Coote, also expressed her grief publicly, posting on Facebook alongside photos of her son. “My family was torn apart last week,” she wrote. “My son Dylan left this cruel world too soon, too quickly. He had been battling a rare lung condition, and his quality of life was rapidly declining. Still, we never expected he would pass away so suddenly—just three days before his 29th birthday.”
She remembered Dylan as “a kind, sensitive, and loyal man—an inquisitive and delightful boy who will always be my baby.” She ended her message with the words: “Forever young – No regrets.”
In a later update, Suzanne mentioned that the family was “close to bringing Dylan home,” thanking everyone who had donated to the GoFundMe campaign. She also shared that the family is “still searching for answers” as they try to make sense of the devastating loss.

“We are still trying to understand how things deteriorated so quickly,” Suzanne continued. “My son was the light of my life, the strength behind every step I took—and now, I am his voice. We want to honour him with the memorial he truly deserves, a special gathering where everyone who loved him can come together and celebrate his life.”
The GoFundMe page, organized by a close family friend, emphasized the suddenness of Dylan’s passing. “Although Dylan had been unwell, his death has come as a heartbreaking shock to those who loved him. Now, they’re not only navigating immense grief but also facing the burden of planning his farewell.”
The message concluded with a heartfelt appeal: “To help Dylan’s family give him the tribute he deserves, please consider donating and sharing this page. Thank you, from all of Dylan’s family.”
